Pulitzer Prize to An Oncologist of Indian Origin-- Dr. Siddharth Mukherji

Well, Its odd as well as great to start a medical blog with post of Pulitzer Prize to An Oncologist ! Proudly of Indian Origin.

Dr. Mukharjee is entitled to get all the acclaim for is master work "The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer". Congratulations for a great work. It came at a time when my father-In-Law has come out of a major oral cancer surgery !!

The Print Media is again on roll with all the printing about Great Indian DNA. No doubt about that ! We Indians have inherited the genius DNAs !!!  In context to Pulitzer Prize.. Time Of India for today is all Ga Ga about Pulitzers of India !! TOI listed several names including Dr. Deepak Chopra, Dr. Atul Gawande, Dr. Abraham Verghese who has great literary career.

What makes baffled is, why Indians who stay outside of India only starts using their DNAs. Mother nature has unbiasedly blessed best DNAs to all Indians than why only those who migrate outside of India start using this marvelous DNAs !

Does that mean that in India there is something that prevents all of us from using maximum of our gray matter of brain? or the Countries like USA, UK provides a kind of fertile environment where in , such geniuses get their spark going to do deeds that has capacity to transform the world !!

Friends, we need to think on this ! If we know the answer we truly can lead the World !
